Elko

Well, we have officially taken the job in Elko, Nevada. We're pretty excited about it, but we're really worried about finding a house. Auntie Ann was saying that you have to be in a job for six months before it will count towards a loan, so I'm worried about how much we will qualify for. I also have to start the difficult task of finding a job. Hopefully I can find something worth having even though I am limited by location. It has also been a little sad because we have had to leave our dog with Dad and Nancy for the time being. I miss my baby! We'll pick her back up when we find a place to stay, but for now we just don't have anywhere to put her.

Work

So, we have finally gotten some job offers. We have one from Barrick Gold Mine in Elko, Nevada and Phelps Dodge is going to give a counter offer. So far it looks like we will be going will Barrick, because it is closer to Salt Lake. Cameron thinks he will miss two important things if we move to Arizona. His family, and snowboarding. And, its not quite as hot there. It's been soooooooooooo hot here. I feel like I'm melting. I also had a little bit of an adventure yesterday. I got stung by a scorpion! It was a little tiny one about the same length as a dime or a penny. It's about the most exciting thing that has happened to me while I've been here. It's pretty boring. Cameron thinks I have it great because I don't have to do anything, but what he doesn't understand is that I don't have anything to do! I can't wait until we are out of here!
