And Then There Were Two...

Well Auntie Ann, it looks like its down to me and you. Here are some more pictures of my house. The first picture is the front yard, and you can kind of see our willow tree in it. It's our only big tree. The second is a picture of our front room, and our furry child. I'm still begging Cam for a new entertainment center, but he says I have to wait to buy any furniture until I have a job. Of all the nerve! Wanting to wait until we have extra money!

Home Sweet Home

I've decided it's about time that I posted some picture of my house. This is the guest bathroom. The people before us "themed" it. Even the trashcan matches!

Pirates

I just wanted to show off my work. Cameron's pants needed to be patched, and he wanted a pirate flag. Well, as you can imagine, they don't really sell those in stores. So, I made him one! I'm so proud!

Piano

Here are some pictures of my new old piano. Dad and Nancy found this antique piano on E-Bay and got it for me! I think it was made in 1868 and it is in a book of famous pianos. I have to wait to tune it though, so it can adjust to Nevada conditions. It's out of tune right now, so I haven't really played it yet. A lot of the notes are half a note off. So, once I get it tuned, I'll post again and brag about how good it sounds! Thanks again Dad and Nancy.

Cam

This is a sag mill. It's one of the machines at Cam's work and it grinds up the ore in order to increase diffusivity and therefore the leach reaction time in the c.i.l circuit. Everyday Cam runs inside of it, like some kind of maniac hamster, in order to get it to turn.
Here's Cam at work. He looks so cute in a hard hat! Oh, sorry. I mean manly.
I just wanted to show off my husband a little bit. He's squatting over 400 pounds!

Basement

Here are some pictures of our partially finished basement. It's pretty boring, because there's not much down there. We did decide to put the weight equipment down there. There are two bedrooms, a family room area, another room that can't be used as a bedroom because it has no windows, and a little hallway area. If we do finish it though, we might frame it differently.

Life and bookshelves

I've decided that I desperately need another bookshelf. As you can see, I was forced to stack all my extra books around my bookshelf. There's still one pile that I couldn't even fit in the picture!

Things are going well here. Cameron likes his job more and we also love having a house. He found some one to car pool with that lives in Spring Creek as well, so he's liking life a little more. It's nice to have our own little space. I promise more pictures of our house are forthcoming. As for me, I am bored. So very bored. I have had one job interview, and hopefully that will work out. If not, then I'm seriously considering doing some volunteer work, just so I have people to interact with! At least stay home moms have their children! We have made some friends, mostly people from Cameron's work, but we're hoping to find some more friends our age.

Did every one watch Conference? Cameron and I travelled to Salt Lake City to watch it with his parents. It's kind of a big deal to them. It was fun, but Cameron and I are so sick of driving back and forth!
